Iceskating

Hess Iceskating Rink in New Castle has been worth several visits and the 40 minute drive, although I wish they would acquire more cones/crates or "walkers" to hang on to for those learning how to skate. Although I've never been, they stay open in the summer, and offer hockey and figure skating lessons. For more info check out http://www.rinktime.com/skating_rinks/pa/hess_ice_rink_skating_rink_arena_castle_pa.cfm

Does Slippery Rock park still have that little rink? Or maybe pond is the right term -- they used to have a little ice skating area near the main building.
