The Slippery Rock Parks and Rec has a cute playground that is rarely crowded. It is located on North Main Street in Slippery Rock. Close by is the relatively new town library. Parks and Rec offers a great summer swim program for infants through teens. In two week sessions, the instructors offer a Red Cross swim curriculum, and take time to stress water safety.
